Gymnasieskolor och universitet stängs. Samtidigt pågår ett febrilt arbete i riksdag och regering för att förbereda det som kan bli nästa steg. En ny lag blixtbehandlas nu och målet är att regeringen ska kunna stänga grund- och förskolor i Sverige från och med måndag, erfar Aftonbladet.
Korridorerna på S:t Eskils gymnasium i Eskilstuna har ekat tomma sedan förra veckan. Dagens rekommendation från regeringen om att gymnasier och högskolor bör bedriva undervisningen på distans har alltså redan praktiserats av många.
Lunds universitet ställer in campusbaserad undervisning och examination från och med onsdag. De nya omständigheterna fick lärare och elever att fundera – vissa tog det hela med ro, medan andra var väldigt bekymrade.
Gymnasieeleverna på Östra Real i Stockholm har famnen fulla med skolböcker när de lämnar skolan, som ska stängas. Många av dem är oroliga för att de ska behöva plugga på sommarlovet.
Lisa Ginolin, 14, går numera i skolan i sitt rum i lägenheten på Södermalm. Hon är en av många Stockholmare som får distansundervisning, på grund av det nya coronaviruset. "Det är definitivt roligare att vara i skolan, där jag kan hänga med mina kompisar", säger Lisa Ginoli
Omkring 19.000 elever berörs av Stockholms stads nya beslut att ge undervisning på distans. S:t Eriks gymnasium med sina 1100 elever är en av skolorna som berörs.
Elever och lärare på gymnasieskolan YBC i Nacka är väl förberedda på distansundervisning. Men Elvira Kenttä Lundberg som tar studenten till våren är orolig för sitt slutbetyg.
